A MSSP is a Managed Security Service Provider.
A MSP manages a company’s IT structure and user systems from a remote location. MSPs can act as your network administrator and disaster recovery expert all in one. MSPs remotely monitor your IT network so it can find and correct problems before they become issues that adversely affect your customers, clients, patients, or vendors to maintain business continuity. Ranger provides both functions.

Yes. Compliance standards are guidelines or rules that organizations must follow to meet legal, regulatory or industry requirements. We are experts in the NIST and CMMC arena. We also offer a comprehensive Compliance as a Service (CaaS) program to ensure your business is meeting regulatory, insurance requirements, or other requirements.

How do you ensure data security and confidentiality?
We use the most up-to-date data security platforms and make sure clients always have updates as they are developed. We place a high value on protecting client confidentiality and our focus is on protecting the integrity of the client’s network infrastructure and data. As such, we do not review browsing activity or history, email content and recipients, or database information, unless requested by Clients. If sensitive information is seen, it remains confidential.
What is your response time for technical issues or emergencies?
Ranger has help desk office hours from 7am and 7pm Monday – Friday, which covers most client needs. For issues occurring outside those hours, there is an active on-call system where response will be within 2 hours based on standard processes. Often these processes are tailored to individual client needs.
How do you handle software and hardware upgrades?
In coordination with the client, Ranger monitors and applies vendor patches and updates. Warranty status and system End-Of-Life dates are also monitored and presented to the client in order to appropriately plan and budget for replacements.
What is the pricing structure for your managed services?
Each component in the plan has its own price, some are one-time fees, some are monthly or annual recurring charges, but all are discussed and documented in our quote to a potential client.
Can I keep some of our IT operations in-house?
Yes, of course. We work with clients who choose to keep some operations in-house.
Do you offer cloud-based solutions?
Yes. Almost all services are cloud based.
